Welcome to University Housing Facilities Management (UHFM)

University Housing Facilities Management (UHFM) is the unit assigned to the development and maintenance of University Housing facilities and grounds. UHFM is responsible for repairing housing units, care of the grounds surrounding housing facilities, performs snow removal, maintains the cleanliness of common areas and offices in University Housing buildings, oversees pest control and much more. On this site you can submit a Maintenance Request online or find information about other services offered by UHFM.

While UHFM is responsible for most maintenance, please contact the offices/resources below for assistance regarding parking lot lights, setting up TV/Cable, or other information technology related services:

• University Facilities — Maintenance related to parking lot lights.
• Please contact the SIUE ITS Help Desk at help@siue.edu or 618-650-5500 for issues related to telephones, Internet, printers, Ethernet, gaming systems, or WiFi.

Additional Information Regarding Furniture Requests:

1. Furniture cannot be removed from student residence. The only exception is Family apartments in Cougar Village.
2. If you live in Cougar Village, you receive 2 kitchen table chairs, plus one chair per desk. No additional kitchen chairs are provided.
3. If you are requesting your bed to be bunked, raised, or lowered all bedding plus anything from underneath the bed must be removed before they are able to make the adjustment. Please note in your request if that has been completed.
